Ace Hardware

Standing on the ground of a landmark corporate campus designed by renowned architect Dirk Lohan, the new Ace Hardware headquarters in Oakbrook, Illinois, embodies a rich history as it embraces a vibrant future. Transformed from a more traditional corporate hub into a bustling center of innovation, the project weaves together history and modernity, creating an inspiring work environment.

Spanning across 300,000 square feet, the project, designed by CBRE Design Collective, accommodates 1,200 workstations and 118 private offices. Beyond functionality, the design fosters collaboration and innovation. A diverse blend of furniture from MillerKnoll and other esteemed brands creates a dynamic and stylish atmosphere, catering to various work styles while reflecting Ace's commitment to quality and durability.

More importantly, the aesthetic seamlessly translates Ace's core values into a physical space. Open collaboration areas encourage interaction, while subtle nods to the site's historical significance and pops of the signature red hue solidify Ace's identity.

This project wasn't just about bricks and mortar; it was an investment in Ace's future. The vibrant new headquarters now fosters a more engaged and productive workforce, while solidifying Ace Hardware's brand identity for years to come.
